The evaluation phase of the recruitment process performed at Next Level Prospects is what truly sets us apart. Our scouts bring dozens of years of professional and collegiate baseball experience to their evaluation and they know what the college coaches are looking for and more importantly how to showcase each players unique talents so that they stand apart from the crowd. We pride ourselves on working with our athletes throughout the recruiting process. We guide the student athlete to make sure that he will be a good fit for the school of his choice and their baseball program.
Each new prospect can expect to walk away from the evaluation process with an honest and expert assessment of their skill levels. Our scouts do more than just prepare video and marketing materials and send it to college coaches. Our evaluation is a one-on-one coaching and mentoring session that will teach the student exactly what his strongest skills are while also offering advice on how to improve on certain areas that will make the prospect a better, more well-rounded, athlete.
Now, more than ever, college coaches are looking at the whole student; both his athletic performance and his academic performance in the classroom. Colleges are looking for student athletes that will make a good fit in the whole picture, not just on the baseball field. The knowledge that our scouts have obtained, after years working as college coaches and professional players, is an invaluable tool that we utilize during the evaluation phase. We put our knowledge and experience to work for you. The goal of our evaluation is to further develop the prospect with the ultimate goal of making him an even better baseball player and the best college prospect he can possibly be.
During the evaluation process the Next Level Prospects scout will:
Assess the athlete’s current baseball skill level and offer one-on-one coaching in areas where he might need some improvement. |
| |
Create a video that specifically highlights the athlete’s strongest skills and produce a finished product that will appeal to the college coaches who see it. |
| |
Determine the top schools of his choice and discuss specific methods of how the evaluation will specifically showcase his particular talents to these schools. |
| |
Help you decide which college has the combination of academics, social life and baseball that the student is looking for. |
