Our Showcase Directors

Our Showcase Directors are the backbone of our company and we view ourselves as an all star team made up of dedicated professionals with many years of experience working in baseball. Our Showcase Directors are all former professional baseball players, college players or college coaches who share a common passion, the game of baseball. Around the country, they are known as industry experts and act as sought after consultants.


All of our Directors are trained to organize, film video, evaluate and run their showcases in the exact same way. By having a planned and practiced showcase process, this enables the prospects to get the most out of their time with our Showcase Directors. At Next Level Prospects we consider the relationships that are forged between our Showcase Directors and their student prospects to be of paramount importance. Our Showcase Directors are always an email or a phone call away when our prospects need advice. It is this close relationship, between mentor and student that separates us from the competition. We take an individual approach with each and every student to ensure that we always have their best interest in mind.

When the founder of Next Level Prospects, John Riedling, a professional baseball player for 13 years, was a high school baseball player he remembers at least three or four fellow team mates who deserved to play baseball at the college level but never had the opportunity. These deserving young players went unnoticed and were never recruited. It is unfortunate that those student’s baseball careers ended after high school graduation. Now, high school baseball players who want to play at the college level and have a chance for an athletic scholarship are often turning to experts for help. This is where Next Level Prospects steps in. After retiring from the major leagues, and still maintaining a burning desire to stay inside the game of baseball, John Riedling, founded Next Level Prospects with one goal in mind: to give young baseball players access to the life changing opportunities that he enjoyed and a chance to take their passion for the game of baseball to the Next Level.
